OPEN LETTER TO MICHAEL STARCK

Dear Mr. Starck,

 Why don’t you do the Town of La Pointe a big favor and resign from the County Board?

 It is obvious that most of the people in La Pointe think that you are doing such a poor job of representing them that you now have to defend your seat.  The 40+ people who voted against you when you ran for the seat should have been a clue. 

 Attorney’s Fauerbach’s letter recommending a moratorium on recent zoning ordinance enforcement shows that you and the people (Broberg, Fischlowitz, Gilman etc.) who put together these changes didn’t have a clue as to what you were doing.

 The work(?) that you and the others have done cost the Town of La Pointe thousands of dollars and will cost even more trying to straighten it out.  You were supposed to help fix the problems with zoning, not make them worse.  It surprising that not one of you “geniuses” ever thought to consult an attorney through the last three years and it comes as no surprise to any of us that actually understand the law that your work on this project was fatally flawed from the beginning.

 Of course, your EGO is too big to ever allow your brain to come to the decision to step down so it will be great fun watching you flounder in defeat.

 Face it Starck, there are a LOT of people who don’t like you and wish that you would just go away.  Far more than you will ever know.  There were a lot of people who didn’t sign the petition to remove you out of fear of retaliation from you and your friends.  After all, you are man with lots of (your wife’s) money! 

 However, if you want to know how many people really support you, go ahead keep your seat. 

 I think you will be surprised.
